The script settings on intune: (assignment group are devices) $Shortcut = $WshShell.CreateShortcut($path) $iconlocation = "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe" $path = "C:\Users\Public\Desktop\youtube.url" In Windows 7 and previous, you’d simply right click the Outlook shortcut in your Start Menu and choose: Send To-> Desktop (create shortcut) In Windows 8, you’ll have to do a bit more tricky right clicking. In the Menu Title box, type the name of the command that you want to add. On the Application pop-up menu, click Other, click Microsoft Office 2011, and then click Microsoft PowerPoint. For example, to create a keyboard shortcut for the Paragraph command on the Format menu, type Paragraph. On the Keyboard Shortcuts tab, click Application Shortcuts, and then click Add. On the Application pop-up menu, click Other, click Microsoft Office 2011, and then click Microsoft PowerPoint. $null = $WshShell = New-Object -comObject WScript.Shell Creating a Desktop shortcut for Outlook in Windows 8 is indeed not that straightforward. On the Apple menu, click System Preferences. The script is the same i use manually (which you have posted in this thread) :
